Charity Events

Every year to celebrate our anniversary we hold a charity night, they are usually held over two nights where we raise money for local charities, we donate a percentage of our takings from the two nights, hold a raffle on one night, and an auction on the other.

The first charity night we held was for our first anniversary in August 2005. Our charity for this year was the Staffordshire County Air Ambulance; we raised £3857.58 over the two night event.

The second charity event was for our second anniversary which was held in September 200; our chosen charity was the Dorothy Griffiths Breast Cancer Appeal Fund in which we raised £4230.00. This year we decided to have the event themed, we decided on a Bollywood theme where all the customers dressed in bollywood style clothes, the ladies wore sarees and salwar kameeze, the men wore traditional dress also.

We had an excellent response from all our customers for this event as all the monies raised is put straight back into the local community, we were helping the charity raise £70,000 to buy a screening machine for the radiotherapy dept of the North Staffs Hospital.
